THE STORY ABOUT BRUNBERG'S CHOCOLATE FACTORY
Yesterday
The year was 1871 when A. W. Lindfors founded a bakery in Porvoo. Twenty years later his bakery was the biggest producer
of bread and sweets in Porvoo. Special products were wedding and funeral confectionery. In 1928 Lennart Brunberg, grandfather
of the present managing director, bought the company from A. W. Lindfors' son Ivar. He soon introduced one of the company's
future successes, chocolate.
Our employees' skills and uncompromising dedication to quality have made it possible for us to develop products
that have been on the market for decades. The Alku sweet, Brunberg's truffle, Brunberg's kisses, as well as
liquorice and milk chocolate are produced with care and offered with pride.
Today
Still operating as a family business, the Brunberg's of today is an efficient factory where tradition combined with modern technology and continous product development guarantees tasty and interesting products.
Tomorrow
The corner stones of Brunberg have always been high quality, unique products and flexibility. These key factors will be valid even in the future. Small size is a valuable company asset, and our ability to quickly adapt to changes gives us a competitive edge on the sweets market.
